Saturday evening, we arrived at 7:50 p.m. for our 8:00 p.m. reservation. We were a couple, and there was another couple waiting to order, as well as a table of seven.
The waitress took the order of the other couple, then the order of the table of seven, and afterwards started serving other tables. We waited for 20 minutes before we were finally able to place our order. To make matters worse, there was no butter chicken left in the kitchen, so we had to choose something else — on a Saturday evening, when the restaurant had only been open for one hour!
The other couple, who had arrived and been seated at roughly the same time as us, received their starters, then their main course, and eventually paid their bill before we had even received our first dish. It was already 9:00 p.m.
It is absolutely unbelievable to sit down at the same time as another couple and still be waiting for your first dish after they have finished their entire meal and paid the bill. This was an extremely disappointing experience, especially considering we had made a reservation.
I had an extremely frustrating experience with making a reservation. It was confirmed when I booked it, but the following day, around noon, I received an email saying it had been cancelled. I didn’t see the message until I was already on my way to the restaurant at the reserved time, only to discover the booking had been cancelled without my knowledge. Unfortunately, I couldn't make another reservation at short notice at another restaurant and so had to take my family to McD for dinner,
